4 Days Serengeti Migration Safari – Witness the Great Wildebeest River Crossing in Tanzania
4 DAYS SERENGETI MIGRATION SAFARI
The expansive land of the plains of Serengeti is one of the destinations where the unusual great migration takes place. There are two events of the great wildebeest migration that can be witnessed in the Serengeti and the first is the calving season where the wildebeests are giving birth to their young ones and it starts in the month of February and when the month of March reaches, the wildebeests decide to move from Serengeti to Maasai mara via the Mara river because of the increased prey hunting by the predators and the reduced water and food supply. Therefore in the Serengeti one can witness the calving season and the crossing of the Mara River but in this itinerary we are to witness the River crossings.

The lions are also usually passing around for a chance to grab the calves however the mothers are also always ready to fight and protect their young ones. The wild beests are social animals hence they are seen co-habiting with the gazelles and the impalas as they migrate. You will get to have a packed meal as you watch this experience at the top of your safari vehicle. Take a game drive back to your safari camp and enjoy a romantic wild dinner setting just outside your camp and later head to your cozy room.
